Willy Mason

It's time to finally start a new blog, I guess.

Today, I'm in Raleigh. Right now I'm just at Chris and Brittany's place waiting for them to get off of work. It's been nice getting away from Tuscaloosa. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to go crazy if I don't get out of Tuscaloosa when I graduate. Either way, it looks like I'm stuck here for a while. Britt & Chris are taking me out to eat tonight, I think that will be pretty fun.

Joshua will be coming down on Sunday (I hope). I can't wait to see him. Talking to him is like therapy sometimes, we're two like souls.

On a side note, I have discovered Willy Mason this week. The only way that I can describe it is that listening to him is like coming home. It makes me feel so good, I can't even explain it. He's my age, his voice is wonderful, and yes, I love him. Love love love. What good is life without good music to shape it a little?

Anyway, I saw the fifth Harry Potter movie the other night, and it was really, really good. After a day of wedding dress shopping with Laura at the Galleria, she and I met up with Reuben, Brian, and Trey for a little dinner at Johnny Carino's by the Rave theatre. After that, we all met up with Adam and Lena and saw the movie. We all loved it (except for Adam, who must have been in a horrible mood or something.)

After wedding shopping but before Carino's Laura and I stopped by the Barnes & Noble by the rave, and this is where I found my Willy Mason CD, which made made me very happy. I also picked up the Once album, since apparently the movie is never coming to a theatre near me.

The more I listen, the more I need to see it. Anyway, I'm going to now revert back to listening to Pandora and reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I'm going to steal Britt's camera and snap some photos at some point, which will subsequently be uploaded.
